Meet the Team

Michelle
Michelle
Hey, I’m Michelle and I am project lead and a youth worker for the Emerge project at Wexham Park Hospital. It’s such a privilege to be able to get alongside young people when they are feeling at their lowest in hospital, whether that’s by chatting, encouraging, playing games or just being in that moment with them. It’s also so cool that I get the opportunity to follow up regularly outside the hospital and be able to really cheerlead them along with life. Amazing young people, chatting, games and coffee – the perfect job!!

I am also a mum of 5 year old twins that keep me very busy, a Paediatric nurse and a church youth worker.

Hi, I’m Jane, a youth worker for Emerge at the Wexham Park Hospital Project. I am enthusiastic about working alongside young people, actively listening to them, and making them feel safe in a time of need. Emerge has allowed me to bring and speak hope into the lives of young people in my community when they need it most. When I am not at work, I love to be involved in church activities and I enjoy travelling with my husband and three children.

Jane has a degree in ‘Working with Children and Young People’, Level 2 Certificate in ‘Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health’ and
Level 2 Certificate in ‘Understanding Behaviour that Challenges’.

Hi, I’m Leon. I work as a youth support worker with Emerge, based at Wexham Park Hospital and in the surrounding community. I’m passionate about walking alongside young people—whether that means having a friendly chat, offering a listening ear, encouraging them through tough times, or providing practical help. When I meet with children and young adults, my goal is to understand their experiences and offer hope, especially in moments that feel overwhelming or hopeless.

Outside of work, I enjoy both playing and watching football, and I love taking my dog on long walks.

In addition to my role with Emerge, I serve as the pastor of Kerith Community Church in Windsor and have recently completed a BA in Theology.
