Meet the Team

Chris
ChrisProject Lead
Hey I’m Chris, project lead for Emerge advocacy at Epsom hospital. I love stories and this helps with my work at Emerge. They are shared experiences that can help the young people I see to not feel so alone. I have a passion for live music and go to a lot of gigs/concerts. I also love film so watch a lot of movies at the cinema or at home.
Chris has been involved in youth work as a volunteer since 2014 including 5 years with Emerge team at the Royal Surrey Hospital.

I am a husband and a proud dad of two daughters.
Michael has previously worked with vulnerable people in the community as a domiciliary carer. He also has level 2 accreditations in Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy, Safeguarding and Prevent, Behaviours that Challenge, and Specific Learning Difficulties.
Eva
EvaYouth worker
Hi there, I’m Eva one of the Emerge youth workers in Epsom General Hospital. I’m married to Glen and have 4 kids. I love spending time with friends, doing art projects and love beach life.
As part of the Emerge team I feel privileged to walk alongside young people through some very tough times. I want to remind each young person how unique and precious they are. I love how we do this in such a relaxed way, chatting over a hot chocolate, doing art projects or playing games, tailored to what each young person finds helpful.

Eva has worked as a graphic designer, youth worker and teacher, She has also worked with autistic children, and run youth projects in churches and schools.
